PBR - Unleash The Beast Boise reviews
Messed up seats
I originally bought 6 seats in section 202. Front row. I wanted front row so we would not have people in front of us. Well we get there 45 minutes early and walking through the door they scan our tickets and say, “oh wait you need to go to the ticket window. You’ve been “upgraded”.” Well I know that is another word for we’ve messed up and had to move you. So we wait in line for 50-60 min. Finally get our “new tickets” which are already taken by someone else when we get to them. So we move over a section. And have to keep scooting when more people come in. Oh and are we in the front row? Unobstructed? NO. We are about 3 rows from the back. In row V. Am I happy with this? No. I’m a teacher and make very little. Buying these seats was expensive for me. I paid extra to get front row in the upper section. This was a going away gift for my son who is going to school next week. Super disappointed in Ticketmaster and Matthew Knight Arena. The bull riding was fun. They put on a great show but my “new upgraded” seats sucked. :-(
First Bullriding Event in 26yrs
This evening was an evening of firsts for me. I haven't been to a bullriding event in over 25yrs, so when I saw the advertisements for PBR Brew City Classic, I was excited for something new to me. Buying my seat through Tickmaster was easy, took 2 minutes tops. They sent me reminders throughout the week to download my ticket to my phone which worked flawlessly. This was also my first time going to the Fiserv Forum as I am a Milwaukee transplant. The whole event went off without a single hitch. Ordering food and drinks was easy and their "order by app" process made lines nearly non-existent at the concession stands.
The PBR event as a whole was super exciting. I was at ground level, 2nd row in. I could practically reach out and touch the bulls as they went by. The announcers were great at their comic relief and controlling the audience when a rider was down and they asked for silence so the medical team could hear him. The overall ambiance was great and I left as very happy patron. Not a single gripe or complaint. I will definitely be attending any further PBR events that come to the area.
